Globe Point, with its angular façade overlooking the city, is laid out over seven floors of Grade A office space, with a feature rooftop terrace and dual aspect windows offering spectacular views across the city. The move is expected during early October 2022.
Of the move, Andrew Fryatt, our CEO explains,
“Our new home in Leeds has been carefully designed to embrace new hybrid ways of working, creative collaboration and enriched team and client experiences. Over the past 2 years, we’ve all learned more about how we want to live and work. In choosing our new office, our ambition has been to find a location and space that allows us to come together to collaborate, socialise and interact, combined with the benefits and successes of working from home.
“The move to Globe Point provides us with the best of both worlds. A central, more accessible location, Temple is buzzing with life and energy - just 5 minutes walk from the train station and within easy reach of canal-side walks, cycle routes, boutique shops, independent cafes and restaurants. We were also keen to be closer to the city vibe and all that offers in supporting the wellbeing and integration of our teams. As well as helping to attract the very best talent to Jaywing to enable our teams and our clients to continue to thrive and grow.”
Developed by CEG, Globe Point is a 37,800sq ft flagship building that provides the gateway to the newly redeveloped Temple Area of Leeds. The seven-story building lies just south of Leeds City Station and is due for completion during July 2022. With its flat iron design, the building is laid out over seven floors, and will provide workspace for over 400 people.
Eamon Fox, partner and head of department at the Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank, who acted for Jaywing commented: “This pre-let to a national, respected agency like Jaywing is a ringing endorsement of the quality of the Globe Point development and emphases, once again, the renaissance of the South Bank area of Leeds.”
