City of Culture wins Masters of Marketing

We are proud winners of a Marketing Week Master, awarded for our bold campaign for Hull, UK City of Culture 2017.

Beating some amazing, high-profile brand campaigns in the competitive Travel, Leisure and Transport sector category, our work earned recognition for unifying the City on its journey and changing perceptions of Hull throughout its transformative year in the spotlight.  

The Marketing Week Masters celebrate and reward true mastery in marketing. More than marketing excellence, an esteemed panel of award judges look beyond best practice to reward work that combines creativity and innovation with the effectiveness that sets new standards for the industry.

The judges were particularly impressed with our strong branding and impressive emotional connection which ‘could have taken a safer route, but which really lifted the city.’ They were particularly impressed with the strategy and performance metrics that really addressed the brief and challenge.
