Today, we are delighted to share that we have further expanded our data science team, appointing Dr Catherine Kelly as a Senior Consultant.

Catherine’s appointment is a reflection of our long-held and ongoing commitment to data science, which sits at the heart of Jaywing, delivering heavyweight analytical, ‘big data’ management and data product services.

Our team of data scientists is now more than 70 strong, and one in 10 of our people globally is a heavyweight data scientist, educated at top universities and with years of practical experience. We offer a rapidly developing portfolio of data, product and marketing services to clients across a variety of sectors – including retail, financial services, and travel and leisure – working with brands including The Swinton Group, Jet2 and Irwin Mitchell.

Catherine is an accomplished mathematician with a PhD in Mathematics and considerable expert knowledge in her field, having worked in marketing and data science her entire career. Catherine has a strong retail background, having previously held the role of Senior Manger within the Data Science team at Asda.

Jaywing is going from success to success, and Catherine’s appointment comes at a time of ongoing growth for us, following our launch of Jaywing Intelligence in May and acquisition of Bloom last year.

We are delighted to welcome Catherine to our growing team of talented data scientists. Jaywing has already set the standard in data science in our industry and we are excited about the next stage in our ambitious strategy.

As the sophistication of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, and the availability of data grows, it’s critical that brands are supported by people with the right data skills. We believe that this combination of new technology and data expertise will be key to how the marketing landscape evolves over the next five years.
