Doritos have been announced as the winner of Campaign of the Year in the ‘Bagged snacks: Crisps’ category for their A or B campaign.
Having introduced two new limited edition flavours: #DoritosA – Sizzling Salsa and #DoritosB – Ultimate Cheeseburger, Doritos encouraged the nation to try each flavour and fans were invited to dream up a scenario for eliminating their least favourite flavour, by submitting their ideas via Facebook, Twitter or the campaign microsite.
Getting to play a key role in the development of the mechanic, judging process and moderation put Jaywing at the centre of the A or B campaign. Alongside managing over 50,000 fan submissions, our web team developed the campaign’s microsite, created the digital display advertising and managed the social media ensuring success.
The campaign prompted 25% uplift in sales, and reached nearly two-thirds of 16-35 year olds.
It has been another incredible effort to all those involved in producing this campaign at Jaywing, who demonstrated creative and technical brilliance.
