Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Base:  Sheffield Office
Hours:  Full-time. 
Salary:  Up to £40K (depending on experience)
Jaywing is a Marketing Agency with analysis at its heart. We use data science to identify and predict customer behaviours to help improve our clients’ business and make the right customer decisions. We’re pragmatic too, delivering real results in weeks, not years.
We work with clients to develop and drive highly personalised marketing communications, sophisticated attribution models built at individual customer level, plus a wide range of ad hoc analysis and visualisation projects.
We’ve honed our skills and approaches over many years, focusing first on widely available transactional data sourced from customer databases.  In recent years we have developed our own unique tracking technology to harvest similar customer level data from digital ecosystems, creating a holistic view of customer behaviour, better insight, better analysis and more sophisticated and value creating decision making capabilities for our clients.
We work across sectors such as retail, financial services, insurance, travel and leisure, loyalty and legal.  We work hand in hand at boardroom level, creating insights that drive better level strategic and tactical decision making.

Where and how we work

You will be based at our Sheffield office, with occasional trips to our Leeds office (therefore a full, clean driving licence is essential).  You will have the option to work remotely where appropriate.

The Role
The successful candidate will lead and manage all aspects of new and existing client accounts, ensuring positive relationships, effective utilisation of client budgets and the successful achievement of all targets and objectives.
Key responsibilities include the ongoing development & overall profitability of accounts, leading of client relationships and the delivery of high-quality analytical projects.
Your Skills and Experience
Extensive experience and exposure across a range of industry sectors and marketing / data disciplines, together with comprehensive agency-side knowledge. 

Specific skills and experience required include:

  • Able to evidence the creation, development and implementation of marketing analytical projects and strategies.
  • Experience in all key areas of marketing analytical projects. Specific experience in digital communications strategy and development would also be advantageous.
  • Ability to create analytical briefs and display confidence in presenting analysis and its rationale to the client at all levels.
  • Experience of leading and developing client accounts.
  • Evidence of contributing to the planning and forecasting process, including regular reforecast, reporting of actual vs. planned performance, and implement remedial actions where plans are not being met.
  • Ability to identify and progress new business opportunities.
  • Excellent project management skills plus an ability to multi-task proficiently.
  • A mix of analytical and creative capabilities.
  • High level of diplomacy and ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships both with clients and within the agency.
  • Educated to graduate level.
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience
